Unconventional sampling for the new chewing-gum Mentos

The popular Mentos White Green Mint have successfully positioned the brand in the market over the last ten years. Since the beginning of 2016, a new variety « sweet mint » is available in fliptoboxs. This soft mint flavor ensures fresh breath at any time.

An unconventional sampling distribution has been chosen for this product. Our promoters, dressed in specially designed outfits and produced by Promotion-Tools, visited 163 different companies in order to distribute Mentos products among the employees. In two different stations in Switzerland, our Field Agents have distributed nearly 100.000 fliptoboxs. A third promotional action has been implemented during the traditional « Züri Fäscht » in July 2016. During this event, samples of Mentos Nano Fresh Mint have been distributed by a promoter stilts-walkers In order to attract customers’ attention our Field Agents have also distributed many Mentos balloons.

Promotion-Tools led this project from its conception to its implementation. Our logisticians ensured the delivery of all promotional material throughout the whole country. Mentos enjoys the results of this promotional campaign due to the high number of customers’ interactions and many white teeth.
